Key Client Factory Visit: Inside Our Botanical Extraction Facility

On May 22, 2026, we hosted a senior delegation from a key global client at our headquarters on Mengyang Road, Yangling District, Xianyang, Shaanxi. The tour spanned raw material intake to finished-product logistics, reinforcing the trust at the heart of our long-standing partnership.

The tour began at the extraction feed port, where raw botanicals from audited supply chains are inspected, weighed, and loaded into an enclosed stainless-steel feeding system. Each batch is assigned a unique traceability code – enabling farm-to-extract tracking. The delegation noted the cleanliness and rigorous incoming inspection protocols essential to meeting EU and North American pharmacopoeial standards.

Next, the group entered the extraction hall, where multi-function tanks run water-based, ethanol, and mixed-solvent protocols under real-time SCADA monitoring. Our engineers demonstrated a live extraction cycle, explaining how PLCs maintain tolerances within +/- 1-2 C to deliver the batch-to-batch consistency our clients rely on.

step 3 production workshop adsorption column+liquid storage tank

At the separation and enrichment zone, the delegation viewed our adsorption column array and stainless-steel storage tanks. Crude extracts undergo resin-based adsorption to isolate flavonoids, polyphenols, alkaloids, and terpenoids. Our engineers detailed column regeneration and cleaning validation procedures, and the systematic pipework labelling drew particular praise.

After donning protective coveralls, the group entered our ISO Class 8 (Class 100,000) purification workshop, where concentrated extracts undergo membrane filtration, vacuum concentration, and spray- or freeze-drying. Our QA lead explained how airborne particulates, differential pressure, temperature, and humidity are continuously monitored and alarmed – a discipline that visibly impressed the visiting team.

The tour moved to the quality control wing, starting with the physicochemical laboratory. Every batch undergoes compendial testing: loss on drying, ash content, heavy metals via ICP-MS, bulk density, and particle-size analysis. Our analysts demonstrated live moisture-content determination and walked clients through our proficiency-testing programme and reference-standard management system.

In the instrumental analysis room, the delegation saw our HPLC system with diode-array detection and autosampler – the workhorse for quantifying marker compounds such as polyphenols and flavonoids. A recent chromatogram illustrated retention-time matching and peak-area integration for identity and potency confirmation. The clients valued the depth of our method-validation documentation.

The final stop was the automated high-bay warehouse, where robotic stacker cranes serve pallet racks of foil-laminated finished-product drums. A Warehouse Management System (WMS) links each pallet’s barcode to its batch record, certificate of analysis, and expiry date. A live dashboard query pinpointed any SKU’s location and shelf life within seconds – digital traceability that underpins supply-chain confidence.

Closing Remarks

The delegation commended the transparency and professionalism on display. For us, the visit reaffirmed that manufacturing transparency is the foundation of lasting client relationships in the botanical-ingredients industry. We look forward to welcoming more partners to Yangling.
